One of the best gardens in Assam, established in 1870. Harmutty is a well made, tippy tea producing a well rounded, smooth cup with an earthy foresty character. It has enough astringency to make for a very compelling start to a day.

This assam was our first try of better quality assams and the difference was stark. This tea is rounded, flavoursome, not bitter but with a satisfying strength to it so you get the 'kick' without the astringent aftertaste of some teas. a really good value quality experience. Liz - Derby
Harmutty is an exquisite tea One of the best gardens in Assam, established in 1870, Harmutty is an exquisite tea with a superior flavour. Dark in the cup with a well-rounded flavour. The aroma is noble and strong distinguishing this tea as being a tea worth savouring. It has a very earthy, full effect but without the dry after-effect of many assams. Highly recommended. A very fine tea Harmutty is my fav. tea, a well flavoured tea with good colour without bitterness. while this offering is not the *very* finest Harmutty is very close to it and very good value. It deserves a comfortable 4 stars. I'd happy to recomend it to anyone. Mike FW - North Wales
