Mangalam has an enthusiastic following and originates from the Nagaland province of Assam, near to where tea was first found to be growing wild back in the nineteenth century. Mangalam is bright, rich and has a full bodied maltiness and sufficient astringency to enable it to take milk well. A really great breakfast tea.

Deep, earthy colour, aroma and taste Characterised by a dark brown colour in the cup, this tea possesses deep, earthy colour, aroma and taste. Although it can be lightly steeped it still has a strong and slightly acidic flavour with an almost malty after taste. S Parton - Worcester
Excellent first morning cuppa I love this tea. It is fairly astringent so some will defintely add a dash of milk but that seems to add to the taste not detract from it. Really impressed with this. -
