Nuwara Eliya, also famously known as Lovers' Leap, comes from very high ground, 6000 to 7400 ft., surrounded by steep mountain ridges. This Orange Pekoe (OP1) grade tea from the Court Lodge garden is deep golden and is greatly appreciated by those that know it, being recognised for its medium body, distinctly floral perfume and mellow flavour. Brew for three to five minutes. A really beautiful and popular tea.

Lovely Amazing rich, but refreshing Ceylon tea. FIne to drink in the afternoon. Mixes well with Assam.. Ally -
Its true uniqueness is in its taste Light brown in the cup like many Ceylons but with no bitter aftertaste. Its aroma is very assam-like but the first flavour to be perceived is reminiscent of Golden Needle, next like a fine Darjeeling moving to a typical Ceylon flavour and finally with an after-taste like Milima.
