Famously known as green spring snail shell tea, this is a highly regarded, classic green speciality, traditionally from the Dong Ting mountain in Jiangsu Province. Picked in early spring it has a deep green leaf twisted by hand in revolving cylinders during the firing process. When brewed the characteristic snail-like spiral unfurl in the teapot to their natural leaf form. In the cup it is greeny gold in colour with a subtle floral nose and a delicately sweet, fresh flavour.
