First Flush Darjeeling tea is the very first picking of the new season. Only the bud and first two leaves are picked for first flush. The resultant Darjeeling tea is light and bright with a light body and good definition, being very fresh tasting. Whilst these are black teas the leaf is often distinctly green in appearance and the tip is clearly evident.
