Formosa Pouchong

Pouchongs are very lightly fermented - between oolongs and green teas. Our Pouchong is from Formosa, it has a brisk flavour and seems almost scented with a gardenia like hint. It has a distinctive taste, partly due to it being wrapped (uniquely) in paper during oxidation. This produces a very mild cup with an amber colour and smooth flavour - an ideal tea for afternoon or evening.
