A carefully chosen selection of our speciality teas designed for all-day drinking. Available in either tins caddies or red packets Tea for the Whole Day makes a very presentable gift.

English Breakfast. Our larger leaf English Breakfast blend contains Assam, Ceylon and a hint of Darjeeling teas to give a rich malty tea, ideal to accompany fatty foods such as the traditional English breakfast fry-up. A great way to start the day and keep you sustained during the morning.

Good Afternoon. Our Afternoon blend - Chinese and Indian teas blended to give a light, fragrant liquor with a little smokiness. Once you have tried it you will not drink an average tea during the afternoon ever again! Can be drunk with or without milk.

Earl Grey. Our Earl Grey is a traditional large leaf blend of China Keemun and Indian Darjeeeling with oil of bergamot, an Italian citrus fruit. It is a well balanced tea, having the right proportion of bergamot oil giving a refreshing but not overpowering taste.

China Keemun. Keemun is grown in Anhui Province and is a 'gongfu' tea requiring disciplined skill to produce thin tight strips. It produces a rich liquor with a slightly scented flavour and delicate aroma. Keemun is the most famous of China's black teas and, due to its subtle and complex nature, it is considered the "burgundy of teas".

Keemun Peony. This extra quality Keemun has a neat pine-needle leaf and produces a subtly rich liquor with a toasty character and delicate aroma. A truly delicate tea that can be enjoyed any afternoon or evening.

Oolong Poppy. Finest Oolongs have a large leaf and produce a delicate, light liquor with a very slight after-taste reminiscent of peaches and a refreshing, very refined fruity aroma.

Darjeeling Castleton. Produced in the famous Castleton Estate, this Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe grade Darjeeling has superb quality. A golden bright liquor with a pungent flowery sweet bouquet, it is well rounded with a characteristic muscatel aroma. In 1996 the Castleton Estate became the first Indian tea garden to be awarded the ISO 9002 certificate of quality.

Dare to be different and expand your taste horizons with these wonderful teas...

Russian Caravan. This historic tea is made from a traditional blend of large leaf Chinese black and oolong teas. It has a distinctive compexity and tea was originally traded in the 15th and 16th centuries, carried by camel via the Russian steppes, along the Silk Road to Moscow.

Sencha Fukujyu. Sencha Fukujyu is one of Japan's most popular teas. It has a mild flavour and is rich in vitamin C. The mature tea leaves are steamed, rolled and then fired until they become like green needles. The tea is a mixture of subtle sweetness, bitterness and fresh green scent.

Lapsang Souchong Osprey. A particularly characteristic Lapsang Souchong with that wonderfully smokey flavour. A top standard with a fine leaf, and subtle for a Lapsang.

Ceylon Uva Pettiagalla. The Pettiagalla tea garden is at Balangoda, within the Uva district of the highlands and produces a lovely aromatic tea which has proved extemely popular. Smooth in taste, with a lingering, rich complexity it has a good bronze colour.

Shangri-La is akin to the Garden of Eden. It is a mysterious valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains deep in the Himalayas where man and nature live in perfect harmony. This inspires our sublime selection of the very best teas.

China Oolong S E Chung. Grown in the Wuyi mountains of Fujian Province this oolong has a shorter fermentation time than other oolongs from this province, making it a greener, more herbacious style tea with a superb, delicate flavour.

Ceylon Dimbula Inverness. This excellent Dimbula is a well made tea that is both bright and brisk with a good body.

Darjeeling Soom 1st Flush. Soom has a greenish leaf and is acknowleged for its roundness and delicate muscatel character. This 1st Flush is the very best from this famous garden. A very satisfying cup for lovers of a good Darjeeling. The garden is at an altitude of about 5200 ft on very steep ground bounded by three streams - which gives rise to its name.

Keemun Mao Feng. This 'burgundy of teas' has a natural orchid character and depth. Its long wiry leaf is a wonderful example of the art of China tea making.
