Malabar is a small 8 ha. garden and nature reserve set amidst beautiful scenery. It was founded in 1890 by a Dutchman, Mr Bosscha. Smooth, earthy and with a hint of vanilla this is a finely made orthodox tea with a brick red liquor.
This Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe from Kenya's small Marinyn garden (it was formerly known as Milima) at the foot of Mount Kilamanjaro is made by the traditional orthodox method. It is bright in cup, with good astringency and body having a subtle malty flavour.
This is a higher grade, large leaf orthodox tea from the Marinyn (Milima) garden. The tea has an attractive tightly twisted and tippy leaf. The liquor is reddish with good, refreshing astringency and a well rounded cup.
