A little about: Nilgiri Tea

This mounainous tea growing area in south west India extends from the states of Kerala to Tamil Nadu and was established in 1835. Having two monsoons there are two flushes each year tea with picking December to March. Nilgiri has a special fragrant flavour more akin to a Ceylon than to either a Darjeeling or an Assam. Nilgiri tea is bright and smooth with a flavoury liquor.
