Jin Shan Shi Yu. 'Gold Mountain timely rain' is from Anhui Province and has a lovely herbaceous, vegetal, asparagus quality. Its aroma has liquorice notes. Full bodied yet mellow and fresh-tasting.

Huoshan Huangya Yellow tea

Huoshan Huangya has a lovely sweet, nutty, kelpy, banana, sweetcorn character. It is covered whilst being gently steamed so that it re-absorbs its aromas. Very few yellow teas are now made.

New White Tea Ceylon Oodoowerre Silver Tip is a rare Ceylon budset white tea from Sri Lanka comprising long grey-green buds. It has a most attractve blackcurrant aroma but in the cup it is buttery, nutty and oh so smooth with a pale honeyish colour. A late evening indulgence.
